Delightfully Ginger

Tangelo Liqueur combined with soft flavours of hot ginger and bitter Matcha brought together with a hint of lemon and Angostura Bitters finishes beautifully with the floral notes of our Delightful Dry Gin. This is a deceptively boozy and easy to drink cocktail that will make you think you are relaxing somewhere in the tropics.

25mL Delightful Dry Gin
20mL Tangelo Liqueur
4 drops of Angostura Bitters
15mL Lemon Juice
15mL Matcha & Ginger Syrup (See Below)


Shake all ingredients vigorously and double strain into a cocktail glass.

To make the Matcha & Ginger Syrup add 3tsp of matcha powder and a good slice of fresh root ginger to a cup, add 250ml of hot water and let sit overnight to infuse. In the morning pour off the liquid into a measuring cup and add sugar until it reaches the same mark as the tea. Microwave on high for 2 minutes and stir well until the sugar is dissolved. Decant into a squeezy bottle.

Tip: slightly crush root ginger or chop into smaller pieces to extract more flavour.
